TRENT RILEY TRIBUTE

Legendary Brisbane skateboarder and keen fisherman, Trent Riley, went out fishing on April 14, 2021, and he has been missing ever since. The Winter Edition of Slam Skateboarding celebrates Trent’s life with an 18-page feature plus the cover and a tribute poster. Read the moving memories from some of Trent’s family and his closest friends as we pay respect to a beautiful soul who was taken far too soon.

SIX PIX WITH SHAUN PAUL

We have three interviews featuring six pictures each in this edition. Shaun Paul kicks it off with six sick shots, and he discusses the ups and downs of shooting his feature, from hassles with local law enforcement in Melbourne to a giant turd that captured the attention of everyone at IMAX.

SIX PIX WITH NOAH NAYEF

Noah has grown from a little Monster Skatepark grom to a potential Olympic hopeful to a pure street skateboarder – held in high regard as one of the most stylish and naturally gifted skaters in the country. His six pictures are testament to his talent.

SIX PIX WITH SAM FAIRWEATHER

With an eclectic bag of tricks and a penchant for strange and stinkin’ spots, Sam’s photos are always eye-catching and unique – he’s got some crazy tricks up his sleeve and the nerve to put them down at perilous spots.

A HISTORY OF CONCRETE

Rob Lewers has spent the past 25 years building skateparks all over Australia, from Paddington to Belconnen to Nimbin to the more recent Sydney Park, which he describes as an “absolute nightmare”. Rob offers some insight behind the slabs as one of Australia’s leading skatepark builders.

CONNOR REEVE NEW GEN

This Newcastle Civic Centre local hucks hard for Drumsticks and durries.

TRENT RILEY POSTER

We have a double-sided pull-out poster in each edition for your wall. Trent Riley Forever!
